Hocking Hills, Ohio

Story and photos by Martha Hall Bowman

When you venture south of Columbus, Ohio,   you will be surprised and amazed at the beauty you will find in Hocking Hills. I have been to the Hocking Hills area several times, and each time I am thrilled at the beauty you find there.

Because the area is so hilly and pretty, there are plenty of wonderful places to stay, from cabins to B&Bs. Each time I have gone, there have been new places to stay, but the Inn at Cedar Falls is always there. Although it has changed and grown, the Inn is still a warm and wonderful place to stay.

The Inn at Cedar Falls features a B&B feel with many benefits. There are not only rooms but also cabins to stay in, and the Inn serves breakfast and dinner, with award-winning chefs, no less!

We stayed in a wonderful cabin called Yarrow. This two-room cabin featured a large, king-sized bed, a garden tub with jets, a separate bathroom with large shower, and so many little details that it's hard to mention them all. But I will try. In fact, I took pictures of the cabin and its many features so that I would remember all the great little details.

From the fireplace in the corner, which turned on with a flip of a switch, to the games ready to play, it seemed that no detail was too small.
